Every year we are fortunate enough to have a wonderful and fun group of divers from Open Water Adventures join us on some spectacular diving in Palm Beach. Although the weather was not ideal for most of Saturday their perseverance paid off with some really enjoyable dives on Sunday morning. From Goliath groupers to turtles and wrecks, the group from Open Water Adventures were psyched about the dives. We look forward to seeing them out here again real soon for they bring with them big smiles and the kind of enthusiasm for diving that we really enjoy.

On May 1, 2009 the Florida legislature unanimously passed bill CS/CS/HB 1423 to create the Florida Coral Reef Protection Act. The Florida Coral Reef Protection Act enhances FDEPs ability to protect and preserve coral reefs. It provides authority for the recovery of compensatory damages from those responsible for damaging these important natural resources and provides for coral reef restoration. The bill defines penalties for anchoring on or other vessel damage to coral reefs.
