We sneaked out today during the perfect weather window to do a little wreck diving and deep reefs. During our first dive at Governor’s River Walk wrecks we were treated to lemon sharks laying out in the sand near a couple of the wrecks. The stern of the St. Jacques wreck was littered with Goliath groupers swimming in and out of the wreck and Great Barracudas stared us followed us closely throughout much of our dive.
Our second dive on South Double Ledges the divers saw numerous marine life including a large green moray, scorpion fish, tropical fish of all sorts, and tons of Flamingo Tongues feeding on the soft corals. The water temperature is very comfortable, but you’ll find many of the Florida locals wrapped in their warm winds in between dives.

With an easterly wind pushing the clear Gulf Stream water right over our beautiful reefs you would swear it was the middle of summer underwater. Top side the seas were a bit bumpy, but the underwater diving experience made it all worth while. Spotted and moray eels were out hunting along the reef. The large stingray with cobias that has been lingering around Breakers cruised by the divers for a close look. Diving Palm Beach is spectacular. Just see for yourself! Check out some of the day’s photos.
